What with Apple, Google and Amazon battling it out for superiority in the audio atmosphere, it's worth mentioning Soundcloud, which is a far more interesting phenomenon. It's truly modern, a sort of social sound space, where you can find anything from Radiohead remixes, to found sounds (like a dog sliding on a hardwood floor or a herd of zebra in Tanzania), to new tunes that you can't get out of your head.
And Creative Commons licences are built into the workflow when you upload your stuff (you can make it your default rights setting).
The best thing about Soundcloud, IMHO, is the way you can comment on tracks and sounds at a particular point to highlight something you think is cool.
